In this well appointed kitchen you can cook up a feast with ease and then relax on the comfy sofas.

At Mount Washington Hostel each room has been designed to give each guest as much space as possible. Instead of jamming as many bunks as possible into our rooms, the emphasis was on creating a relaxed and comfortable environment. All the beds at MWH have high-density foam mattresses that provide a great nights sleep. A fresh white sheet, duvet, pillow and pillow case are included in the bed tariff. All dorm rooms also provide a private en-suite to the room.
We also provide private rooms for those couples who value a little privacy or just want a break from the dorm rooms. Our private rooms come with either one or two double beds and there own private bathrooms.
Chubby Hiker Restaurant
The Chubby Hiker is where locals and travelers alike enjoy great food in a relaxed atmosphere at an economical price. We also provide catering services and have a function room that is great for that private party or group meeting.
Avalanche Bar & Grill
If youre after a fun and exciting time then the Avalanche Bar & Grill is where you will want to be. At the Avalanche you can always expect something different. We have live entertainment every week which includes bands, Djs, comedians and even the occasional exotic Dancer. We also have weekly events such as Nintendo Wii Wednesday on the big screen, Pool tournament nights, Dart tournament nights and Comox Valleys best jam night - on Tuesday.
The Lounge
The lounge is exactly that, a place to relax and get comfy on our leather sofas. If its watching the game or playing pool then this is the place.
