Overview
The North-Eastern extremity of European Unit. Just 50 metres from Russian border. You can see what is going on in Russia just by standing on the high riverside and looking over the river. It's not much to see, actually. There is a small town on the other side. May be you will get a funny feeling trying to imagine that the next eleven thousand kilometres belong to Russia. Japan is the next stop. Otherwise St.Petersburg is just 130 km away. If you are not sure what to do stay at my place for a night and we shall discuss the matter. You can turn back and go to your homeplace. Or you can continuie and go to Russia.
A neat newly furnished room with 2 single beds. 50 metres from Russian border. A quiet place. Just me and my dog Lucy. 25 Euros per night per person breakfast included.
2 extra bed are available.
We speak english, Deutsch and russian.
Location & Transportation
The city of Narva. The only place in the world where 2 enemy fortresses are located so close to each other: there is a Swedish castle in Narva nearly 900 years old and a Russian fortress on the other side of the river. 50 metres only. The end of European community (but not the end of Europe). Russia is over the river. When walking with my dog in the morning I sometimes meet people who came just to look at Russia. My living place is located so curiously nearby.
