 | Accademia House is a warm and welcoming B&B right in the heart of the historical centre of Florence. It is located on the first floor of a building dating back to 1500 AD and was once the dining room of the convent of Santa Maria della Neve, thus providing an unexpected and unique architectural structure.
The house was personally renovated in the year 2005 and each room has its own unique style.
The location of Accademia House gives you the opportunity to experience the best that Florence has to offer within walking distance. You’re just a few blocks from the Accademia Gallery, home of Michelangelo’s renowned statue of David. The area offers fine restaurants and is famous for its old book stores.

All main monuments and sites are within a walking distance, you can easily reach museums and churches and walk to the fashion district were Gucci and Ferragamo made their history. | | Directions | LOCATION - Accademia House is situated between Piazza San Marco and Piazza Indipendenza, very close to the central rail station Florence Exhibition Centre (Fortezza da Basso) and to the Congress centre . The Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo (cathedral) are within a short walk as are many of the important monuments and attractions of Florence. | | Transportation | DIRECTIONS FROM CENTRAL STATION
WALK - get out from the left side of the station, cross the street and make a right, you'll pass Mc Donald's then make a left on the first street (Largo Alinari - Via Nazionale) and reach the square (Piazza Indipendenza), make a right in Via XXVII Aprile then make a left in Via San Gallo to n.61 (Tot 15-20 min)

Each room has been designed in different style but keeping the spirit and characteristics of a building of the year 1.500 AD. | | Antiq Room – 27 sqmt, the room is designed with antique furnishing belonging to my family since the beginning of the century and other pieces that have been finely restored. It's main characteristic is the vault ceiling with bricks. The room has tv and private toilet with shower | | Modern Room –25 sqmt, the room has a very modern furnishing in white and red. Still with the vault ceiling with bricks and a fresco an the wall. This room has a large toilet with bath/shower and a nice terrace in the building court. TV. | | Classic Room – A warm and confortable double room with wood ceiling. It has a nice old style toilet with bath/shower. |
