They also provide a free transportation service to the beach in the morning and afternoon, can arnage airport transfers for you, and for large groups they can arrange a traditional mexican meal to be cooked for you right in the gardens at Villa Tortugas! Villa Tortugas is 1 km far from Akumal beach * that is one of the most peaceful and ancient sites along the Caribbean coast. Every year hundreds of turtles comes to Akumal beaches to lay their eggs. That’s why Maya called this bay “Akumal” that means “the place of turtles”. Villa Tortugas will let you enjoy the tropical forest’s charm, together with a relaxing holiday. You will experience all the beautiful local sites in the Riviera Maya.
