The property was originally two one floor twin houses built in the late 1700's, across the street to what used to be the gunpowder deposit for Fort San Cristobal. To avoid accidents, it was built standing far from the street, as were the other houses around it. When the gunpowder deposit was closed the other houses were moved to the front. Ours remained where it originally was, providing us with a very much needed parking space and a small area for our plants. Two other floors were added during the 20th century, and the twin houses were converted into the two apartments we now rent . | Local Attractions
