Whether it is climbing the Gros Piton, or the more challenging Petit Piton, walking in the rain forest, bathing in the therapeutic waters of the sulphur springs or visiting one of the many waterfalls in the area, all of these are either a short walk or drive away from La Haut.
Snorkeling at the Hummingbird, Anse Chastanet and Jalousie Hilton beaches and scuba diving under the Pitons are rated as the best on the island. Are you an avid bird watcher, go no further? Premium upstairs rooms are spacious with high cathedral ceilings, rocking chairs, upmarket pillowtop king-size beds, hard wood floors and cooled by natural sea breezes. Three downstairs garden rooms are air conditioned.
