A very relaxed, laid back hostel about 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre on the way to the cable car station.Large rooms with about sleeping about 8 (bring ear plugs if the snorers I suffered are typical :-) ). A small cafe/bar in the court-yard area out the back, plenty of cafes in the streets around. ATM machine about 100m away, with security guard during the day (in a small mall).
Toilets/bathrooms cleaned regularly, laundry rooms on-site
Helpful,friendly staff.
Have stayed there 4 times, met other travellers outside Cape Town who stayed there & none had anything bad to say about it.
Not going to give a 5 for cleanliness as that depends who's been using the kitchen :-)
Front gate & door both PIN coded locks.
Busy road out the front,by Cape Town standards, not London's

We had great help in planning our activities in Cape Town and there abouts. Our room and the food in the cafe were great. We just outside the kitchen and people stayed up pretty late some nights partying, but otherwise the people were nice. Watch your things on the clothes line.
