We have a Japanese manager, so we can give you most confrtable and cleanest space in hostels of Beijing.

Because our hotel is half-basement, and it is equipted with public washing room(each room does not have its own restroom), we are afraid that it will bring you inconvenience.
In order to offer you a clean and warm environment, we will be always at your disposal.

If you stay in our hostel more than 2 nights, we will offer you one free breakfast for next morning of arrival.
The menu is toast and egg and drinks.
If you want to eat breakfast for the other morning, please buy a ticket at reception (10 RMB/person).

There is no air-comditoner in our single (mini-single) rooms , just has steam heat and electric fan.

Discovery Hostel’s location is second to none. The hostel is located in the Central Business District of Beijing just to the east of the geographical center of the city. Because of its location in the CBD, the area surrounding Discovery hostel is full of useful places for travelers including two modern supermarkets, a gym, plenty of restaurants (all Asian and western styles), coffee shops, dvd stores, a spa, and even Starbucks, KFC, and McD’s. In addtion, the hostel is less than a 10 mintue walk to the subway(DA WANG LU station) and adjacent to a hub bus station on the public transportation network, which makes transportation links throughout Beijing smooth and simple. Virtually every tourist location as well as both train stations are easily accessible from the hostel.

The hostel has 32 rooms(all in a half basement) and occupies the first floor of a large apartment complex that houses both foreign and chinese residents. If you stay with us you will also have access to other apartment facilities including the communal green space. Community members often spend their afternoons in the green space playing cards or chatting, which may provide you an easy opportunity to interact both with other travelers and people who live in the city as residents to learn more about life in Beijng

Discovery hostel is happy to help with any of your needs and questions while in Beijing and we offer a few standard services that we hope will make your stay in Beijing more enjoyable. We arrange airport pick-ups/drop-offs, tours to the Great Wall, city bicycle tours, tickets for a world class acrobatic show, and even tickets to a spa if you want to treat yourself one day. And if there is something that we do not offer that you would like to do in Beijing, just ask us and we will be happy to help you arrange it.
