Description - Hostel

Grand Central Hostel is a small, climatic place, located in the very city centre of Krakow. Imagine that You can see Barbican and Planty from our window, get to the Main Square in 5 minutes and to the Main Train Station in 3 minutes! We are in the very city centre. Close to all of the monuments, restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, pubs and shops.

Our Hostel offers you variety of extra services, well-equipped kitchen and free WiFi. We will show you the city, tell what is worth seeing and where to eat to try our local cuisine. You can book excursions and extra attractions with us. We are always close to you !

Our team consists of young, fun loving people, who appreciate their jobs and see the opportunity of working here as a life-changing adventure.

Grand Central Hostel is located in the very center of Cracow, precisely in front of the bus and tram stop 'Dworzec Główny', which means 'Main Station'. You are very lucky - you can walk from here to practically all of the most important highlight and monuments of the city. We are located 3 minutes walk from Galeria Krakowska with raliway and bus station, which is the city's most important transportation point; 6 minutes walk from the Main Square; 15 minutes walk from Wawel Castle and Kazimierz.

How to get there

1) Balice Airport. To get to us via public transport, you have to choose a bus 208 or 292. Buy a 60 minutes agglomeration ticket for 5 PLN (you can get one in the ticket machine at the bus stop or inside the bus). Take a ride until the Plac Inwalidow stop and change for one of the various buses and trams that go to the Dworzec Glowny station. Just after you leave at Dworzec Glowny - take a look at the other side of the street, you will surely see our banner hanging from the balcony. You just have to cross the street to get to the hostel.

2) Railway and bus/coach station. Both stations are located just on the side of Galeria Krakowska. To get to us, you have to leave Galeria using its side exit on Pawia street and continue left until the end of the road and then turn right. Simply cross the street and turn right behind the big Warszawski Hotel. Keep going straight and you see our buliding. Super easy - it takes around 3 minutes to get to us from Galeria Krakowska!

3) By car. You need to get to Basztowa street which is the first zone city center. You have to park on the street (just remember - parking is paid from Monday to Friday 10:00 - 20:00, and you have to pay in the ticket machine and put the ticket on your front car window to make it visible). You can also park in the one of the secured, paid parking lots: just drive to Galeria Krakowska and you will see plenty of them. Galeria itself has parking as well, the first hour is for free.
