Comments (English): I had a single room with bathroom, was OK for ecuadorian circumstances. the loaction is very good, near the Tourist and party cental. Breakfest was on, but no choices as mentioned at homepage. Only scrambled eggs, toast, butter and marmelade with coffe/tea. Price is OK, you find cheaper ones, but not tried them. Staff is friendy.

Comments (English): Unfortunately, I'm unable to make a recommendation. The Huauki is directly across from a loud disco that kept going until after 2 a.m. A woman and baby were occupying the entry step on arrival at midnight while her male partner appeared to be selling patrons entering and exiting disco. Strong police presence on the street (roughtly two+ patrolmen per three blocks) indicate this may not be the safest area. It certainly isn't the quietest. Room itself was adequate (just) but not nearly what the website suggested.

Comments (English): This stylish hostel is located in the heart of Mariscal in Quito. Everything (great Argentine restaurants, pubs, dance clubs, book stores...) can be reached very easily and Oscar, the owner will help you if you need anything as he speaks English very well. The single/double rooms are spacious and very charming (someone really put a lot effort in to make the rooms look like in some boutique design hotels). They are clean and have nice bathrooms with a shower. As the hostel is located in a side street you will not be bothered by too much traffic (in the middle of Mariscal you cannot expect it to be totally calm anyway!). Breakfast is included and very tasty (you have the choice of Japanese/Ecuadorian/Continental breakfast!). You have a computer which you can use for free at any time. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend this hostel to anyone without hesitation.
