Room smelled of damp/sewage. Waiter at breakfast got leery and personal as soon as he realised I was on my own.
As in all riads it is potentially noisy because of the layout of the building but the nightporter didn't help by having the TV on loudly until 12.30 at night.
Worst of all: bedbugs
Enough said!

We stayed at Riad Jemalhi Mogador during the Gnaoua festival, as all other places were fully booked. Staff at the Riad was very nice and friendly. The room we stayed in wasn't nice though, no external windows, which is normal in a Riad, so nothing to be said, but as a consequence bad smell of humidity. The bath room was not very clean and my friend had a not so nice encounter with a cockroach. We were staying in three in the room, but there were towels only for one person. The third bed was not made up and we needed to ask for the blankets. The internal window could not be locked, anyone could get in the room at all times. Considering the price there are better places to stay at Essaouira, honestly.

Me and my partner loved this place. They have a great roof terrace to chill out and the owner and staff were great.

The room was nice and just the right size.
We had breakfast here and it consisted of pancakes and bread and jams and coffee and fresh orange juice.

We only stayed 2 nights and i think you need at least 3 or four to really get the feel of the City...

Thanks Saheed ( sorry about the wrong spelling of your name)
