Comments (English):
Located in a dreary district. Owner is a very friendly and helpful lady but some of the staff is very disregardful and arrogant. The hostel has two buildings, the one in Rua Almirante Reis has intense street noise and lacks the garden that the hostel advertises. Ask for a room in the Rua dos Anjos building. Rooms are beautiful, sanitation is clean.

nice garden in the main house (the hotel), not in the guest house.
but u just have to walk 2 minutes to get there.
