Ban Sabai Hostel was a bit difficult to find, but a nice place to stay!
We were surprised by the bathroom with the large window to the room: unusual indoor architecture. Good bed. The atmosphere in the house is friendly and welcoming. We had a excellent muslim brækfast nextdoor and dito thai breakfast at the first Ban Sabai house in the Soi.

Internet conditions were a bit poor the days we stayed but the rooftop swimmingpool was refreshing. Many birds and beautifull flowering plants.

This Hostel comes highly recommended. The standard is more hotel like, think four stars.
And the design of the buiding is special, a tower that goes thru to the top.

BUT..its far away from the shoppingcentres in Sukhhumvitarea, like MBK, SIAM and so on. Took us about an hour with taxi cause of the traffic.

The Khao San Road is much closer than the town centre as well.

I stayed at the Bansabai for a weekend in May. For the price I thought it would be a simple place. However, I was really surprised to find not only an incredibly clean and tidy place, but a nice room and bathroom with nice details and decor.
The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Everything you need is there.
The only thing is it is a bit far from downtown, so it took a while to get to the places I wanted to go to.
However, I would definately stay there again!
