Comments (English): Awful - as soon as we walked in they tried to sell us trips and were not happy that we had already organised this. The beds were like concrete - it was too noisy to sleep due to uncarpeted, central atrium - the breakfast was terrible, coffee was rationed to one cup of Nescafe each and then we had to drink what appeared to be dishwater both in looks and taste - the pool bar menu was incomprehensible - there was no electricity for a whole evening and the staff seemed not to want us there.. I have stayed in Luxor many times and have always been happy with my accommodation. I am not picky as long as its clean , comfortable and has a good breakfast and pleasant staff. The Lotus is clean but that is about the only positive thing I can say. We actually left and went to another hotel and I've never done that before anywhere.
