Comments (English):
Thai Bamboo Guesthouse is a beautiful garden setting with a large pool and outsource kitchen. Bungalows are brucks and wood and very spacious. They have a small fridge and electric water kettel. The outdoor kitchen has a large fridge.
Thai Banboo is situated app 7 km from Cha-am, a very nice ride on the bicycles provided by the german/thai owners. If possible join the wednesday night market. We recommend this place!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Leute dort,
das Resort ist leider sehr abgelegen, aber schoen und ruhig gelegen. mit sauberem
Swimming Pool.
Aber man braucht fuer die 7 km bis Cha Am immer ein Taxi welches teuer ist.
Leider gibts im Resort keine Versrogung mit Fruehstueck, Lunch und Dinner.
Aber leider auch keine Kochmoeglichkeit fuer Selbstversorgung !!!!

The garden was very nice but the service is not good enough The owner's dogs are not educated, the room are not equiped enough (no soap) and the breakfast is too expensive for the quality.

Heerlijk resort om even bij te komen na de lange vlucht.
Mooie tuin met veel vlinders, heerlijk zwembad.
Geweldige nieuwe managers.
Volgende keer ga ik weer daar "landen" voordat ik verder ga met de vakantie.

A very nice quiet place for relax and chill out. No restaurant within the resort but have cooking facility. A bar that provide drinks and a nice swimming pool.

I was looking for an area away from big turist area. And Thai Bamboo is about 7 km North of Cha am. You need taxi to get there from Cha am and normal rate is 200-300 Thb. There is no restaurant near the resort but they got good breakfast :-)
They got motorbike (scooter) and Mountain bike for rent. Easy to find your way around after some recon. Also some regular bicycles to use for free.
Swimming pool is very nice and its got salt water.
There is a small bar at the resort where you can get some drinks, beers, water and soda (coke/sprite). You can help your selfe and just write down what kind og of drinks you made ir brought to your cabin/room. The owners are very helpful and friendly but during daytime they are at their cafe in Cha am. So you are on your own but for me I did like the peaceful and calm area. No problem to bike around the area, and this is real country side..
